PLANT TISSUE CULTURE introduces students to the structure, growth and function of plant cells. The course focuses on the technical requirements and media preparations for the culture processes, and discusses various factors affecting the growth of cell and tissue culture. The course also discusses the applications of tissue culture technology in agriculture, and applications of stem cells for agriculture and therapeutic purposes.
