PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC) is a course designed to provide students with hardware adaptation and programming skills by employing a PLC for an automation system in the industry. Basic types of automation systems will be studied to assist students in visualizing the application of PLC. The corelation application of PLC in the automation system will be explored both by theoretical and experimental mode. Practical application of an automation system with PLC will be simulated in a laboratory environment to provide a pseudo industrial based experience.
